Sanitary Shave

30 mins··$50

Nail trim included! A shave down of the private areas, back of the thighs, and underbelly.

NOT FOR MATTED CATS. IF YOUR CAT IS MATTED, SELECT THE MATTING RESCUE & RELIEF SHAVE.

This service uses electric clippers. A full shave of the sanitary area for cats that have a hard time keeping themselves clean. I provide Stress-Free grooming, and if your cat is not agreeing to the shave, we may need to reschedule or you will receive a discount on the service depending on level of completeness. Please note - fur grows back SLOWLY, especially when it is shaved.

The Lion's Shave

When brushing and de-shedding aren't enough to keep the fur from flying, prioritize your cat's comfort with a shave. This service uses an electric razor and adds stress to your cat's experience. Fur will regrow, but slowly.

*I will not provide to-the-skin fur shaves on senior cats. Their skin is incredibly thin, and even the smallest knick will cause a "run" in the skin similar to pantyhose! I also do not shave faces, legs, or paws (aside from toe beans) as there are tendons & tactile whiskers which are sensitive. There is NO professional justification to shave these areas.*

It's important to remember that a cat's fur provides essential insulation and protection. I always prioritize brushing and de-shedding when possible; however, I respect your right as the cat's parent to decide if this cut is right for your situation.

Please remember my stress-free guarantee - if this service is too extreme for your cat, I will only charge for the % of completion of the service, and we can reschedule to complete another day when the cat has calmed down.

Short-hair cats require the Liger or Tiger style due to lack of mane.

I will use my judgment when shaving your cat. This is a difficult, dangerous task when pairing paper-thin, wrinkly skin with wiggly cats and sharp blades! All results may not be the same. Your cat may have shave lines in their fur, however after about 2 weeks, these lines fade and blend! Fur grows back So Slowly! By booking, you agree that you've read to and understand this description for this service, and you release liability. You also agree to allow the groomer to use her professional judgement on the final technique, which many produce slightly atypical results for the safety and comfort and humanity of your cat.

Matting Rescue & Relief Shave approx 0.8mm

Electric clippers are used to shave the fur down to the skin to relieve irritation, discomfort, and pain from matting. Matted fur is dangerous to your cat's physical and mental health. This provides a chance to reset & maintain your cat's coat, but please understand that your cat will be vulnerable, sensitive, and agitated. Also, fur grows back MUCH slower than hair! I do not shave pelted coats - that requires veterinarian intervention. When brushing and de-shedding aren't enough to keep the fur from flying, prioritize your cat's comfort with a shave. Tiger or Liger Shave

Tiger or Liger Style. This style leaves shave lines and looks bumpy for a few weeks until the thick fur evens out and blends to a velvety texture. Best option for short-haired cats.

Dry Powder Deshed - No Wet Products

Nail trim, ear cleaning, nose & paw balm, plus:

De-shedding (extra charges if fur is matted or for removal of fecal matter from sanitary area), dry powder distributed throughout fur (lightly scented) and brushed through to help absorb odor & refresh your cat's coat.

De-shedding is done with manual shears and special brushes. The only services offered with electric clippers are under the "Shaves" category, and they are separate.

My name is Beth! I am the owner of Queen B Mobile Cat Care. I am our area's first & only in-your-home cat-specific mobile groomer!

I work out of 44483 and I will travel up to 25 miles (outskirts span Cortland/Champion, Boardman/Canfield/Poland, Hubbard/Girard, Lordstown/Newton Falls, Niles/Howland).

Please have a quiet, private room in your home available for grooming (preferably the bathroom). Remove any litter boxes from the room & block any escape paths if your cat likes to disappear & hide, so we can respect other client's appointments by not wasting time chasing your kitty around the house.

I accept cash, Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, checks, and Visa/Mastercard. If your check does not clear, a $30 NSF fee will be invoiced along with your unpaid balance.

Thank you!! Beth and Carmen were magic!! First they showed up early and these two they instantly starting going through the process and I was confident my Jynx would be the queen she is but Odie I was worried about! But they were magic with him and he smells like a million bucks !! He was having some bathroom issue due to a new food allergy and now he smells like as royal as his sister!! Those of us who have cats know it is very scary for them to leave the house. It puts a lot of stress on their little hearts. But luckily there is a solution, Queen B Mobile! They come to your home and groom your cat from there.
The service was amazing! They were kind and patient. My fur baby took them very quickly. My baby is a long hair domestic and had mats on his lower half. I did what could but I had to call in the professionals. They did a fantastic job. He is mat free and happy.
